The Foundation supports ten Ekal Vidyalayas in the Badaun district of Uttar Pradesh to empower rural and tribal communities through education. These schools have played a vital role in promoting literacy, healthcare awareness, and economic self-reliance in remote villages across India. Adopting a holistic approach, the initiative integrated primary education, digital literacy, healthcare awareness, vocational training, and value-based education. Through this project, 303 children have benefited from ten Ekal Vidyalayas, reinforcing the commitment to bridging the education gap and fostering community-led development in underserved regions. In collaboration with the Pardada Pardadi Educational Society (PPES), we are driving meaningful change in the education of underprivileged girls in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh. The Pardada Pardadi School for underprivileged girls provides education to girls hailing from the rural areas in and around Anoopshahr. The initiative helps create an equitable educational environment by enabling access to essential learning resources, ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder academic progress. Essential educational stationery has been provided to over 400 girl students from low-income families in Pardada Pardadi schools, ensuring they have the necessary resources to pursue their studies without financial constraints. The DLF Foundation partnered with Muskaan PAEPID to enhance diversity and inclusion within the workplace. Under this project, three young people with intellectual disabilities received on-the-job (OJT) training over a six-month period in hospitality, F&B, housekeeping, and soft skills. The training was also provided at the Lodhi Hotel to provide experience in a real work environment where the beneficiaries received guidance from mentors and team members, equipping them with the confidence and competencies required to navigate the workplace effectively.
